Consultant - France
Yasmine-Marie Kalami possesses a strong background in international business and large-scale project management initiatives. Before joining Insigniam, Yasmine-Marie worked at branding and advertising agencies, where she was responsible for developing business in new and previously undeveloped markets. Despite being told during her training at an advertising organization that it would be “very unlikely” to break into larger companies, she secured three major players in the fast-moving consumer goods industry as clients within six months of starting her position.
For her graduate thesis work, Yasmine-Marie explored whether an alcoholic beverage company could propose a never-before-invented product in a non-alcoholic product sector, thus catering to a new target market. Her research uncovered that the non-alcoholic malt category presented significant business growth opportunities and that her employer could benefit from investing in this category. The project aided the company’s commitment to remaining a future market leader.
Yasmine-Marie is a graduate of the INSEEC Business School in Bordeaux, France, where she obtained an M.S. in International Business Management. Prior to continuing her education in France, she earned a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in French from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She speaks English, French, and Farsi fluently.
