Insigniam Founding Partner Nathan Owen Rosenberg Elected to Educate Girls Globally Board of Directors
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) FEBRUARY 14, 2018
The Board of Directors at Educate Girls Globally (EGG) recently elected Nathan Owen Rosenberg, a founding partner at an international management consulting firm, Insigniam, a director of the organization. Mr. Rosenberg’s appointment expands the board to 12 directors.
“The future sits in classrooms. Without question, education is a singular factor in determining the future of our world. I am honored to serve Educate Girls Globally, again,” said Mr. Rosenberg. “The organization has a proven track record of opening education to girls in situations, where little or none existed. This then elevates the opportunity set for girls and women to make a difference in the possibility of a world that works for everyone with no one and nothing left out.”
The mission of Educate Girls Globally is to: Assist government ministries of education to reform schools by empowering girls to learn and to lead.
“From the beginning, we focused on reforming schools. We’ve been empowering girls to prosper through education for more than a decade now, doing so through profound cultural change, learning gains, and encouraging social entrepreneurship,” said A. Lawrence Chickering, Educate Girls Globally’s founder and president emeritus, “With Nathan’s business acumen, international experience, and expertise gleaned from transforming cultures in the world’s largest companies, he will add significantly to our capacity, as we expand partnerships with governments and empower girls as leaders and role models in less developed parts of the world.”
In addition to his new role with Educate Girls Globally, Nathan is also a vice president and executive board member of the Boy Scouts of America, board member and past chairman of the Boy Scouts’ Orange County Council, chairman of the Air Force Academy Alumni Rugby Club and co-chair of the Money in Politics committee of the Committee for Economic Development. He holds a B.S. in Management from the United States Air Force Academy and completed master’s course work in Legislative Affairs at George Washington University.
