Luz Andrea Ramirez brings over 14 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, with a focus on medical affairs leadership across Latin America. She has led regional and country-level teams for global companies including Amgen, Shire, Baxalta, and Baxter—successfully guiding clinical strategy, regulatory collaboration, and stakeholder engagement in complex, high-stakes environments.
As Country Medical Director at Amgen Colombia, Luz directed major medical initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic, advancing clinical trial operations and pioneering regional best practices in medical science liaison (MSL) performance. Her work accelerated clinical trial KPIs, strengthened compliance, and increased engagement with key opinion leaders across hematology and immunology.
