Increase in Sales by 7% after 5 Years of Decline
A leading European beverage company facing a decline in growth and profitability over the past five years needed a business transformation.
Insigniam conducted a leadership development program with the top-line functions within the global business unit accounting for approximately 400 employees. Among these participants, 46 led a Breakthrough Project to improve profitability and growth.
Despite the challenges of working cross-functionally, and managing a Breakthrough Project on top of existing workloads, each of these 46 leaders implemented a project to deliver on the company’s strategic ambitions.
One example was a project to transform beverage system installers into sales people. This business innovation enabled the company to reach new sales points quickly, increasing its sales force.
That year, the company reversed its downward trajectory and achieved an increase in sales of more than 7%.
